ACT Policing is investigating three burglaries which occurred at commercial premises in Fyshwick, Campbell and Watson in the early hours of this morning (14 January).
A light coloured four-wheel-drive was captured on CCTV cameras entering the Australian Catholic University campus in Watson about 1.38am. A short time later, two men broke a window on the ground floor of the building and gained entry to a lecture room and the reception area. They made off with a small amount of cash.
Three men travelling in the same four-wheel-drive then used the vehicle to drive in to the front window of BDL Car Stereo in Paragon Mall, Fyshwick about 1.45am. Entry was gained to the store and the offenders stole stereo equipment to the value of $10,000 from the showroom and rear workshop.
About 1.50am, an unknown vehicle was also used to force entry to the rear storeroom of the Lanterne Room restaurant at the Campbell Shops, however no items appear to have been stolen.
AFP Forensic Services attended all three incident scenes and conducted thorough scientific examinations.

The vehicle is described as a white or silver ‘soft roader’ vehicle, similar to a Hyundai Santa Fe or a Kia Sportage and the male offenders have been described as aged in their late teens or early twenties, with one wearing a white T-shirt and another wearing a white hooded jumper
