Crimestoppers: Witnesses sought after City robbery – City (13 October 2009)

Crimestoppers logoACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a robbery that occurred in Canberra City yesterday (Tuesday, 13 October).

About 8.20am, the female victim parked her vehicle in a car park at the end of Childers Street. She exited her vehicle and walked towards Marcus Clarke Street, before suffering severe head pain. She later awoke in her vehicle to find a sum of cash missing from her wallet.

The victim drove home and reported the incident to police. Police believe that the victim was hit on the head, and may have lost consciousness as a result of her injuries.
